We're building a brand that is precise, elevated, clean, and composed — and we need a visual operator who can bring that to life on camera, every single day.

The Role

The Photographer / Videographer at Therapin is a hands-on operator — someone who picks up the camera, reads the light, sets the scene, and delivers content that is visually sharp and on-brand without needing a team of ten around them. You are technically proficient, creatively driven, and most importantly, able to execute both at the same time.

You will be responsible for producing the majority of Therapin's visual output in-house — product photography, performance and lifestyle shoots, short-form video for TikTok and Reels, behind-the-scenes content, and campaign visuals across Singapore. You work fast, you work clean, and your output is publication-ready.

What You'll Own

Camera Operation \& Technical Execution You are the primary shooter. You own the camera kit, you know every piece of it, and you know exactly which tool to reach for in any situation — mirrorless or DSLR (Sony, Canon, or equivalent), prime or zoom lenses, gimbal, slider, or handheld. You understand colour profiles, LOG formats, and what it takes to give the editor something great to work with.

Lighting — Natural \& Artificial You know how light works and how to shape it. Natural light, reflectors, diffusers, continuous LED panels, and foundational strobe/flash knowledge. You can walk into any environment — studio, gym, outdoor, rented space — and make it look intentional.

Composition \& Art Direction You have a strong visual eye and you can articulate why something works. You're comfortable art directing talent on set — athletes, founders, models, everyday customers — and you can take a mood board and turn it into a real shot on the day. You understand the visual language of Therapin: precise, elevated, clean, composed.

Short-Form Video Production Most of what you shoot is vertical-first content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. You shoot with the edit in mind — understanding pacing, hook framing, and transition points before the camera rolls. You can shoot multi-angle setups solo or with a minimal crew, handle on-camera audio (lav mics, shotgun, on-board), and deliver a clean handover to the editor same-day.

Product \& Lifestyle Photography Therapin has a growing product line — performance wear, health tech, wellness supplements. You can make a product look like it belongs in a premium editorial and do it in a half-day shoot. Flat lay, overhead, hero shots, lifestyle backgrounds — you're comfortable doing it with or without a stylist.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• 2–4 years of hands-on photography and videography experience in a brand, agency, or production environment
• A portfolio that shows real range — product, lifestyle, people, and short-form video.
• Demonstrable technical knowledge of camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and audio
• Experience art directing talent or working on set independently
• A strong understanding of how content performs on TikTok, Reels, and Instagram — and what makes the visual difference between content that stops the scroll and content that doesn't
• Proficiency in editing software — DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent
• The ability to work on-site in Singapore on production days and attend regular in-person sessions with the team

Bonus points for:

• Experience shooting for DTC, wellness, performance, beauty, or lifestyle brands
• Drone operation (CAA-certified a plus)
• Studio lighting experience — strobes, modifiers, backdrops
• Proficiency in an additional language relevant to our SG/MY/SEA audiences (e.g. Malay, Mandarin)
