About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our fast-paced dispensary team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a high-volume community pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions using the MPS dispensing system
• Support the pharmacist in the safe and efficient running of the dispensary
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with OTC queries
• Process prescriptions for PCRS schemes (GMS, DPS, LTI)
• Manage stock control including ordering, checking, and rotation
• Maintain a clean, organised dispensary and follow SOPs at all times
• Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Act 2007 and guidance from the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician (QQI Level 5/6 or equivalent)
• Previous experience in an Irish community pharmacy (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of MPS software
• Experience with PCRS claims and reimbursement schemes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
