GPS Installation / Vehicle Tracking Technician
Location: Dubai, UAE | Full-Time / Field Work
We are looking for an experienced GPS Installation Technician with strong hands-on skills in vehicle tracking systems, auto electrical wiring, and GPS/GSM troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure GPS tracking devices in cars, patrol vehicles, buses, trucks, and fleet vehicles.
- Connect power, ground, ignition/ACC, CAN/OBD, and other vehicle signals safely.
- Install accessories including panic buttons, RFID/Driver ID, relays, fuel/door/temperature sensors, and GPS/GSM antennas.
- Test GPS location, GSM/SIM connectivity, ignition status, inputs/outputs, and tracking platform communication.
- Troubleshoot offline devices, GPS/GSM signal issues, wiring faults, sensors, and power problems.
- Perform device replacement, maintenance, reconfiguration, and SIM/antenna replacement.
- Ensure all installations are clean, hidden, secure, and professional without affecting vehicle safety systems.
- Complete installation reports with vehicle, device, SIM, photos, and test details.
Requirements
- 2–4 years' experience in GPS installation, vehicle tracking, fleet systems, or auto electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of 12V/24V vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
- Experience with CAN/OBD and basic vehicle wiring diagrams is preferred.
- Able to use multimeters, crimping tools, and basic diagnostic tools.
- Experience with Teltonika, Queclink, Ruptela, or similar devices is an advantage.
- Technical Diploma / ITI / Auto Electrical certification preferred.
- Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE experience and valid UAE driving license preferred.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
