Job Description

Vets Fur Pets Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Pet Handler to join our team. We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and physically fit individual who is confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatments.
• Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses during procedures.
• Feed, walk, clean, and monitor hospitalized animals.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kennels, cages, and clinic areas.
• Help with lifting and transporting animals when required.
• Assist with general clinic duties and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pet Handler, Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Assistant, or in a similar role.
• Confident in handling dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments.
• Physically fit and able to handle medium to large animals.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about animal care.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 2,000–3,000 per month (depending on experience)
