Job Description

For our Smart Infrastructure Division Electrical Products Factory in Gebze, we are looking for a Part Time Working Student (Production Engineer)

Key Responsibilities

• During the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner,
• Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required,
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training,
• Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account,
• Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers,
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices,
• Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders,
• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement,
• Obtaining any materials and equipment required,
• Identify and implement cost saving measures, particularly those driven by Lean Manufacturing concepts, tracks savings and conduct follow-ups,
• Conduct time and motions studies and derive time standards for station work contents and production calculations,
• Development of process Key Performance Indıcators and system for their monitoring,
• Drive and support continuous improvement activities as well as facilitate, lead and participate in Kaizen events to affect breakthrough changes,

What you need to make real what matters.

• 3rd or 4th year university student in Industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
• Able to work 2,5-3 days during the week days
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or 6 Sigma
• Competency with Excel, Word and MS Project
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Hard-working team player, enthusiastic and eager to learn
