Part-Time IB / A-Level Tutor (Contract)

GT Educational Institute Pte. Ltd. is seeking academically strong and responsible

current university undergraduates

to join us as Part-Time Tutors on a contract basis.

We welcome candidates who have completed the

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE/International A-Levels

and have a strong academic foundation in one or more of the following subjects:

Mathematics

Chemistry

Physics

Economics

Candidates who are able to teach multiple subjects are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct 1-to-1 and/or small-group tuition for IB and A-Level students.

Provide academic support for schoolwork, revision, examination preparation and past-year papers.

Explain concepts clearly and effectively according to each student's learning needs.

Prepare appropriately for scheduled lessons.

Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring improvement.

Complete written teacher feedback after every lesson

, including topics covered, student performance, progress and areas for improvement.

Communicate professionally with the education centre regarding students' learning progress.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at a recognised university.

Completed IB Diploma, GCE A-Levels or International A-Levels.

Strong academic results, particularly in the subject(s) to be taught.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese

, as tutors may need to explain academic concepts to Mandarin-speaking students.

Confident teaching at IB and/or A-Level standard.

Willing to conduct face-to-face lessons in Singapore.

Able to commit consistently to agreed lesson schedules.

Patient, responsible, punctual and able to communicate well with students.

Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
