Office Manager

Job Description

Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

Minimum Weekly Hours: 30.00

Wages: $32.00 to $36.00

Full-time, Permanent

· Manage day-to-day office operations.

· Allocate office resources, equipment and administrative support to ensure efficient business operations.

· Maintain employee records and ensure staff hold valid visas, permits, licences and other required authorisations.

· Supervise and monitor staff performance and provide guidance and training where required.

· Assist management with budgeting, workforce planning and resource allocation.

· Monitor compliance with company policies, employment obligations and health and safety requirements.

· Manage and resolve administrative and operational issues, escalating matters where necessary.

· Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration and personnel records.

· Manage and maintain business records, including rosters, wages, invoices and operational documentation.

· Manage office records like accounts and compliance documents, and made available when necessary

· Prepare reports and provide administrative support to management.

· Monitor office resources, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient operations.

· Develop, implement and review office procedures, service standards and administrative systems to improve operational efficiency

Candidate requirements

· At least 2–3 years of relevant office administration or office management experience; or

A relevant qualification in business administration, office management, management, or a related field.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour
