AJ Speech \& Occupational Therapy Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. We provide assessment and intervention services for children \& adolescents, with developmental, sensory, physical, cognitive, behavioural, and vocational needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to improve functional independence, participation, and quality of life.
  • Assess and address sensory processing, fine motor, gross motor, visual perceptual, cognitive, self-care, and social participation skills.
  • Monitor client progress and modify intervention plans as required.
  • Prepare assessment reports, progress notes, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Educate and provide guidance to parents, caregivers, teachers, employers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists and other professionals to provide holistic and client-centred care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
  • Assist in developing therapy materials, programmes, and clinical resources.
  • Support vocational rehabilitation, job readiness training, and community integration programmes where applicable.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and centre initiatives.
  • Conduct school visits and community-based interventions when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Eligible for professional registration with the relevant regulatory or professional body.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about working with children and individuals with diverse developmental and functional needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional languages are an advantage.

Pay: RM3,100.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Occupational Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • Mandarin (Preferred)
  • Bahasa (Required)
