Occupational Therapist - 1 Day a week

We also provide bespoke services in the acute private hospital setting and within clients’ homes. Our team works seamlessly across multiple settings, including elective orthopaedic, post-acute rehabilitation, medical inpatients, musculoskeletal outpatient, and primary care services.

Healthcare Direct is a leading provider of therapy services in Ireland, and we're currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in one of our key locations in Ballincollig Co. Cork for 1 Day a week.

Working as an Occupational Therapist in our team will involve:* Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to Adults and Older Adults consisting of physical, sensory and cognitive assessment and intervention. * Devise and carry out appropriate assessments e.g., seating, hoist \& slings, functional and meaningful activities of daily living. * Assist individuals in becoming independent following physical, social, emotional and mental-health difficulties. * Work with other Healthcare Professionals such as Nurses, Social Worker, Speech \& Language Therapists, Physiotherapists etc. * Liaise with patients’ families and other relevant agencies. * Active engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) e.g., Staff Training Days. * Participate in regular service review meetings with our clients.

The post holder will require the following:* CORU Registration * A broad range of under-graduate clinical experience with Elderly care being desirable but not essential * Strong written and verbal skills
