Sports Massage Therapist (Part-Time Contractor)About the Role

Prep Physio is looking for a Sports Massage Therapist to join our team on a part-time, self-employed contractor basis.

You’ll work alongside experienced physiotherapists, treating a varied clinical caseload while building and managing your own client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality sports massage and soft tissue therapy.
  • Build and manage your own client caseload.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes.
  • Work closely with physiotherapists to provide excellent patient care.
  • Assess and treat patients with pain, injury and movement problems.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and patient care.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Sports Massage Therapist.
  • Level 3 Sports Massage qualification (Level 4 Preferred)
  • Student Physiotherapists or athletic therapist will be considered for the role.
  • Professional indemnity insurance.
  • Eligible to work as a self-employed contractor in Ireland.
  • Confident treating patients with acute and persistent pain.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable

  • IMTA and/or ANMT membership.
  • Experience in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary clinic.
  • Experience treating sports injuries and active individuals.
  • Dry needling or other manual therapy qualifications (desirable).
  • Interest in rehabilitation and exercise-based care.
