Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Network \& Systems Administrator with strong expertise in network infrastructure, server administration, cybersecurity, and IT support. The candidate must have previous experience working at a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) or Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and be available to join immediately for a 2–3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and optimize IT network infrastructure, including network cabling, servers, routers, switches, and related equipment.
• Analyze client requirements and establish network infrastructure from scratch.
• Manage and troubleshoot network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, port forwarding, content filtering, URL filtering, and access controls.
• Install, configure, and administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, WSUS, IIS, file servers, print servers, and domain controllers.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, VoIP systems, and other network components.
• Monitor server and network performance, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, scheduled upgrades, system migrations, and network configuration changes.
• Manage VMware ESXi environments, including virtual machine creation, cloning, templates, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor IT infrastructure, perform data backups, and maintain system recovery procedures using appropriate backup solutions.
• Implement antivirus and endpoint protection solutions and maintain security compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration records, and incident reports.
• Manage service tickets, coordinate incident resolution, and provide technical support to ensure business continuity.
• Configure and maintain IT security solutions, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), DMZ, authentication systems, and network access controls.

Mandatory Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) or Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) environment.
• Strong experience in IT network administration, server management, and network troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with virtualization platforms, preferably VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and IT infrastructure monitoring.
• Ability to join immediately and commit to the full 2–3 month contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in networking, Microsoft technologies, VMware, or cybersecurity will be an advantage.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in water treatment, sewage treatment, utilities, or industrial facilities.
