Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide attentive care and support to children and individuals with disabilities. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, and educational engagement. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caregiving and working with children, along with the ability to adapt to various needs and routines.

Duties

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene practices
  • Engage children in educational activities, play, and teaching to promote development
  • Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized environment
  • Support learning through teaching basic skills or homework assistance as needed
  • Administer medication or health-related tasks following instructions from parents or healthcare providers
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress or any concerns

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
  • Skills in cooking and meal preparation are highly desirable
  • Experience in caregiving roles demonstrating patience, empathy, and reliability
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning routines to maintain a safe living space
  • Ability to teach or assist with educational activities suitable for different age groups
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
