Part-Time Developmental Nanny / Infant Educator
We are seeking a highly engaging, energetic, and nurturing caregiver for our 6-month-old son. This role is focused exclusively on supporting his development through age-appropriate play, interaction, sensory activities, reading, music, language exposure, and other enrichment opportunities.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Starting at 1–2 hours per day
- Opportunity to increase to approximately 3 to 4 hours per day as needed
- Flexible morning or afternoon schedule
Responsibilities:
- Engage in developmentally appropriate activities
- Encourage language, motor, sensory, social, and cognitive development
- Read books, sing songs, and participate in interactive play
- Support tummy time, movement, and milestone development as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, attentive, and positive environment
- Provide updates on activities and developmental observations
This position does NOT require:
- Driving
- Transportation of the child
- Cooking or meal preparation
- Housekeeping or cleaning duties
- Laundry or household management
Qualifications Preferred:
- Early Childhood Education certification, degree, or relevant coursework
- Former preschool, kindergarten, or elementary school teachers encouraged to apply
- Experience working with infants under 12 months of age
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Passion for child development and early learning
