Nanny / Home Child Care Provider
Langley, BC \| $22.00 per hour \| 40 hours per week \| Full-time, term/contract \| On-site

We are a private household looking for a reliable nanny to provide full-time care for children in our home in Langley.

Duties

• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to children’s emotional well-being
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the children
• Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by the parents
• Prepare bottles, formulas, and nutritious meals for the children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
• Perform light housekeeping related to the children (children’s laundry, bottles, meal prep, and tidying play areas)
• Shop for children’s food and related household supplies as needed
• Follow the parents’ routines and discipline methods

Hours
Monday to Friday, daytime / morning shift, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Willing to train
• English required
• Emergency child care first aid and CPR is an asset (or willing to obtain)
• Reliability, patience, good judgement, and strong communication skills

Other

• Work is in the employer’s home
• Public transportation is available
• This is not a live-in position
• Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay provided in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
