Metrology Coordinator

MYT Metrology LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Metrology Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and oversight of calibration and measurement activities. The role ensures that all metrology operations comply with relevant quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily metrology and calibration schedules across laboratories and client sites
• Track and manage calibration due dates for measurement instruments and equipment
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality systems
• Maintain accurate records of measurement results, certificates, and traceability documentation
• Liaise with technicians, engineers, and clients to ensure timely completion of jobs
• Review and verify calibration reports for accuracy and completeness before issuance
• Support audits by preparing documentation and assisting with non-conformance tracking
• Monitor equipment status, maintenance needs, and calibration intervals
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within the metrology department

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
• Experience in metrology, calibration, or quality assurance (typically 2–5 years preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and measurement uncertainty concepts
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calibration management systems
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial calibration environments (dimensional, electrical, or mechanical metrology)
• Knowledge of measurement traceability and instrument control systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Working Conditions

• Office and laboratory-based role with occasional site coordination
• May require coordination with field technicians and client locations
• Standard working hours with flexibility during audit or project deadlines

Pay: Up to KD65,000.000 per year
