Position: Marketing \& Events Executive
Location: On-site / Field travel as required
Role Overview
The Marketing \& Events Executive will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. This role involves coordinating campaigns, assisting in event planning, managing digital content, and supporting cross-functional marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Execution \& Brand Support
- Assist in implementing annual marketing plans aligned with brand goals.
- Coordinate and execute marketing activities across multiple platforms.
- Support the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and digital assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and campaigns.
- Monitor and report on marketing activities and competitor trends.
2. Campaign \& Launch Support
- Coordinate logistics and timelines for marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Support cross-functional teams and partners for campaign implementation.
- Track and report on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Assist in executing affiliate and co-branding initiatives to increase customer reach.
3. Digital \& Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day digital content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Website, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Assist in planning digital campaigns and tracking their effectiveness using analytics tools.
- Collaborate with designers and vendors for development of visuals and creatives.
- Respond to community feedback and engage with followers to build brand loyalty.
4. Events \& Activation
- Plan and coordinate marketing events, roadshows, and community engagement activities.
- Assist in managing event calendars, budgets, and logistics.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotations, materials, and event execution.
- Customize event materials and ensure brand visibility at all on-ground activations.
- Support venue sourcing and negotiation for activations and exhibitions.
5. Sales \& Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to provide marketing materials and event support.
- Assist in product demos, customer onboarding sessions, and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare post-event reports and gather feedback to refine future activities.
- Support reporting on campaign and partnership performance with actionable insights.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, event planning, digital campaigns, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms, marketing tools, or CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing in Malaysia is an advantage.
- Bonus: Experience in event management, content creation, or working with an agency.
