With the construction of a new grandstand and venues and growing the non-race day hospitality business, this is the perfect time to join BRC. To support this growth, we are recruiting a hands-on and highly organised Logistics \& Set-Up Coordinator to join the Hospitality Operations team.
About the Role
As Logistics \& Set-Up Coordinator you support the delivery of exceptional race day and event experiences at Brisbane Racing Club.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of logistics and physical set-up across our hospitality venues. From race days to major carnivals and premium events, you play a key role in ensuring every space is at the highest standard - ready to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Working closely with Operations and key stakeholders, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate and deliver the set-up and pack-down of hospitality spaces across all BRC racecourse venues
- Manage logistics, timelines, and schedules to support seamless event delivery
- Maintain and track inventory, including furniture, equipment, and consumables across the precinct
- Coordinate supplier and contractor activities, including deliveries, bump-in/bump-out, and on-site operations
- Ensure compliance with WHS, proactively building a safety culture
- Collaborate with Hospitality, Culinary, and Facilities teams to support premium service delivery
- Contribute to post-event reviews, identifying improvements and driving operational efficiencies
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in hospitality, events, venue operations, or logistics
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Physically capable and willing to assist with manual handling tasks
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work weekends, early mornings, and public holidays
- Understanding of WHS and compliance planning principles
- Experience in large-scale or live event environments (highly desirable)
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
- Forklift licence and truck licence (advantageous)
