Live-out Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for our family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, demonstrate patience, and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while supporting families with their daily needs.

Duties

• Change diapers
• Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
• Cook

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary (high) school
• Ability to cook simple meals and prepare snacks for children
• Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and reliability
• Ability to teach basic skills and foster a positive learning environment
• Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy and safe space for children
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with families
• Certification in CPR or first aid is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
