Live-In Nursing Assistant – Infant Care

Live-In Infant Caregiver / Nursing AssistantJob Purpose

Provide safe, compassionate, and dedicated in-home care for an infant, supporting daily routines, feeding, hygiene, sleep, comfort, safety, and general well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily hands-on care, including bathing, diaper changing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare and provide breast milk or formula as instructed.
• Monitor feeding, sleeping, elimination, behavior, and general condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the infant.
• Follow safe sleep, feeding, hygiene, and infection-prevention practices.
• Accompany the infant to medical appointments when required.
• Assist with light household duties directly related to the infant's care.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in the infant's condition to the parents and/or healthcare professional.
• Follow medication or healthcare instructions only within the individual's training and permitted scope of practice.
• Provide overnight or on-call support as agreed.
• Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and respect for the family's privacy and preferences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in newborn or infant care.
• Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Caregiver, or similar qualification preferred.
• Infant CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Knowledge of infant feeding, hygiene, safe sleep, and basic safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Caring, patient, trustworthy, reliable, and attentive.

Note: This is primarily a caregiving role. The caregiver must work within their qualifications and scope of practice and promptly escalate any medical concerns to the parents or healthcare professional.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
