Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, flexible and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for showcasing available properties, engaging with prospective tenants, and facilitating lease agreements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service, sales, and communication skills within a professional real estate environment. Bilingual and multilingual abilities are highly valued to effectively serve diverse client populations. The Leasing Agent plays a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with tenants and ensuring the smooth operation of the leasing process.

Responsibilities

  • Promote properties through effective marketing strategies to attract potential renters
  • Pre-filter Tenant Prospective and book the appointments
  • Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed tours of available properties
  • Assist applicants with the leasing process, including applications, background checks, and lease signing
  • Negotiate rental rates with landlords to ensure alignment with company policies and market conditions
  • Maintain organized records of all leasing activities and tenant information
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with property management team to ensure properties are maintained and marketed effectively
  • Follow up with prospective tenants and the landlord to maximize occupancy rates and reduce vacancy periods

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management, leasing, or real estate preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close lease agreements effectively
  • Excellent marketing skills to promote properties across various channels
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and administrative tasks efficiently
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
  • Previous administrative experience is required; training will be provided as needed
  • Flexible working hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.
