Independent Videographer/Editor (1-2 Months Contract)

Duration: 1–2 Months (Possible Extension)

Period: August – September

We are seeking an independent Videographer with a creative mindset and strong storytelling skills. The ideal candidate is proficient in videography and video editing, capable of producing high-quality visual content from concept to final delivery while collaborating closely with the Producer and Director.

Roles \& Responsibilities

Pre-Production

• Review project briefs, storyboards and shot lists.
• Understand project objectives and creative direction.
• Plan camera setups, lighting, audio and equipment requirements.
• Participate in production planning and location recce where required.

Production

• Capture high-quality videos and photos for interviews, events, workshops and promotional content.
• Execute a variety of shots, including interviews, B-roll, wide, medium, close-up and movement shots.
• Set up and monitor cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
• Ensure proper media management and backup during shoots.
• Provide technical recommendations on set.

Post-Production

• Edit videos into compelling stories with strong pacing and narrative flow.
• Perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement and sound mixing.
• Incorporate feedback and deliver final videos in required formats.
• Create content optimised for digital and social media platforms.

Skills \& Requirements

• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in storytelling content creation.
• Strong storytelling ability and creative eye.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in camera operation, lighting and professional audio recording.
• Strong editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut.
• Basic colour grading and motion graphics experience.
• Own videography and audio equipment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects is an advantage.

Opportunity:

• 1-2 months contract. Aug- Sep (With possibility of extension)
