About the role

The IGA Platform Lead / Architect is the senior technical and architectural lead for the Identity Governance \& Administration (IGA) platform. This role owns solution design, connector architecture, integration blueprint and platform configuration governance across the full programme, acting as the primary technical escalation point throughout delivery. You will hold accountability across architecture design, connector build, platform configuration standards and technical sign-off at each delivery gate, ensuring the platform is built to scale and remains audit-ready.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in Europe or Latin America (LATAM), provided they can operate during standard European business hours.

What you will do:

Architecture \& Solution Design

  • Own the end-to-end solution design for the IGA platform, including architecture and integration blueprint documents.
  • Design the connector architecture and integration approach across HR, directory and enterprise systems, with Workday as the source of truth.

Platform Configuration \& Governance

  • Lead connector build and configuration, establishing platform configuration standards and runbooks.
  • Design the role model and Segregation of Duties (SoD) ruleset from scratch, ensuring scalable and compliant access governance.

Technical Leadership \& Delivery Governance

  • Act as the primary technical escalation point across the delivery team throughout the programme.
  • Own technical sign-off at each delivery gate, ensuring architecture and configuration decisions meet enterprise-scale requirements.

Tools \& Technologies:

  • IGA Platforms: SailPoint IdentityNow and/or Saviynt IGA (architecture and engineering level).
  • Identity Sources \& Directories: Workday as source of truth; hybrid Active Directory / Entra ID environments.
  • Enterprise Systems: Integration experience with SAP and other enterprise applications (nice to have).

What you bring:

  • Experience: Proven track record leading full-lifecycle IGA implementations (design through go-live) at enterprise scale (10,000+ users, 50+ applications).
  • Architecture Design: Demonstrated experience architecting Workday-as-source identity solutions in hybrid AD / Entra ID environments.
  • Role Modeling: Strong background designing role models from scratch.
  • Access Governance: Practical experience defining SoD rulesets for large, complex environments.
  • Certifications: Current SailPoint IdentityNow Architect / Engineer certification or Saviynt IGA certification. Dual-platform experience strongly preferred.
  • Location \& Availability: Must be based in Europe or LATAM with the ability to consistently work within the European time zone.

  • NHI Governance: Experience with Non-Human Identity / service account governance.
  • Global Delivery: Experience in multi-geography or multi-entity environments.
