HR Team Lead (Payroll, Recruitment and Compliance) – Permanent \& Full-Time

The Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) is seeking to recruit a HR Team Lead in a Permanent \& Full-Time capacity to join the Human Resources (HR) Department. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership and professional support across key Human Resources functions. Outline of Duties and Responsibilities

The role of HR Team Lead includes but is not limited to:

  • Lead, supervise, and support members of the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
  • Act as the primary HR liaison with payroll services to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions.
  • Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of departmental objectives and service level standards.
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns across clinical, academic, administrative, and support staff positions.
  • Provide first-line advice and support to managers on employee relations matters.
  • Support the management of disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, attendance management, and capability processes.

Applicants for the post must have:

  • A relevant third-level qualification (Level 7 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications) in Human Resources Management, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' relevant HR experience, including experience in Payroll Coordination, Recruitment and Employee Relations (ER).
  • Experience of supervising or leading a team.

Candidates for the post must ideally have:

  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent professional body.
  • Experience working within the healthcare, public sector, university, or not-for-profit environment.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Experience supporting Industrial Relations (IR).
