Holistic Therapist - Massage Therapy

Part-Time \| Dublin \& Wicklow \| Nursing Home Visits

Forever Therapies are looking for a warm, compassionate and enthusiastic Holistic Therapist with a recognised Massage Therapy qualification to join our team, providing holistic therapy services to elderly residents in nursing homes throughout Dublin and Wicklow.

We have worked closely with Nursing Homes since 2006, delivering programmes designed to enhance the wellbeing, comfort and quality of life of elderly residents.

Our programme is holistic in nature, with massage therapy at its foundation, alongside additional therapeutic and wellbeing elements. Full training in our specific programme is provided.

About the Role

You will visit nursing homes and provide therapeutic treatments while also offering something equally important — kindness, companionship and positive human connection.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older people and wants to make a positive difference to their day. You should be comfortable chatting with residents, listening to their stories and creating a warm, uplifting atmosphere.

The role involves working independently as well as being part of a supportive team.

Essential Qualifications \& Experience

• Recognised Massage Therapy qualification, or a recognised Holistic Therapy qualification that includes Massage Therapy
• Training must include massage, anatomy and physiology
• Full, clean driving licence
• Own car
• Willingness to travel throughout Dublin and Wicklow
• Part-time flexibility
• Genuine interest in working with elderly people

Please note: Qualifications in therapies such as reflexology, Reiki, facial massage, hand massage or foot massage alone do not meet the Massage Therapy qualification requirement.

Desirable

• Additional holistic therapy qualifications
• Previous experience working with elderly people
• Experience in nursing homes, healthcare, caring or wellbeing
• Background in nursing, healthcare assistance or nursing-home activities, alongside the required Massage Therapy qualification

Training Provided

Full training is provided in our specific holistic programme.

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring the right personality, attitude and genuine passion for working with older people.
