We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Recovery Vehicle Driver to join our team.
Main responsibilities will be the safe and timely collection, transportation, recovery, and delivery of customer and dealership vehicles between customer locations, service center and other authorized locations.
The ideal candidate must have strong driving skills, good knowledge of UAE roads, excellent vehicle-handling ability, and a professional attitude when dealing with customers and dealership staff.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the vehicle recovery truck vehicle in accordance with UAE traffic and safety regulations.
- Collect and deliver vehicles from customer locations, service centres, and other authorized locations.
- Conduct a basic visual inspection of the vehicle before loading and record any visible damage.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using approved recovery equipment and procedures.
- Ensure vehicles are properly secured before transportation.
- Handle customer vehicles with care and always maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Coordinate with the , Workshop, Sales Coordinator, and customers regarding collection and delivery schedules.
- Follow assigned recovery routes and complete jobs within the required time.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle collection, delivery, mileage, fuel, and recovery activities.
- Obtain the required customer acknowledgment/signature upon vehicle collection or delivery.
- Report any new damage, accident, mechanical issue, or incident immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure recovery equipment, straps, winches, ramps, and other tools are maintained in safe working condition.
- Perform daily vehicle and recovery equipment safety checks before starting work.
- Keep the recovery vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Follow all dealership policies regarding vehicle keys, customer vehicles, documentation, and confidentiality.
- Assist with roadside recovery and vehicle transportation when required.
- Ensure customer vehicles are never used for personal or unauthorized purposes.
- Report traffic incidents, accidents, breakdowns, or delays immediately to management.
- Perform other duties related to vehicle recovery and transportation as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License appropriate for the recovery vehicle.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a recovery driver, towing driver, heavy vehicle driver, or similar role.
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership, service center, roadside assistance, or vehicle recovery company is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads, major locations, and traffic regulations.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
