Head Chef

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our Kitchen at Café Lacus at Taupo.
Requirements: At least 3 years of relevant experience, or a New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Diploma in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and plan to appeal cafe menus, daily specials, and cabinet food.
Estimate food and labour costs.
Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes.
Lead food preparation.
Prepare and cook food.
Follow and enforce food hygiene and safety regulations.
Select and train kitchen staff.
Freeze and preserve food when required.
Ensure compliance with local food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
