Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
• Deliver excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hairstyles and hair care products
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments efficiently
• Communicate clearly with clients about service options, maintenance tips, and product recommendations to foster trust and loyalty
• Keep abreast of current trends and techniques in hair styling to provide innovative solutions that keep clients coming back

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse techniques and styles
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired results
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic salon environment
• Ability to upsell products confidently while prioritizing client needs
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Previous retail sales or front desk experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for practicing hairstyling
