Our vibrant and busy downtown hair salon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hairstylist or Hair Salon Assistant / Apprentice to join our dynamic team. We are a small business with lots of opportunity to learn and grow within our team. No pressure to build clientele because we work as a team and none of us have our own clients! We would like someone LONG term who can grow over time.

Job Description:

Depending on your experience, stylist or a Hair Salon Assistant , your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Shampooing clients' hair

- Assisting stylists with blow-drying and styling

- Assisting colour applications

- Foiling, applying colour

- Washing and folding towels

-Exceptional customer service

- Maintaining a tidy and well-kept working environment

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a recent graduate from hair school

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Knowledge of the latest hair care products and trends

- Friendly, outgoing personality!

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
