We are looking for a General Manager – Travel \& Tourism (m/f) who can lead the strategic direction of our travel business while ensuring operational excellence across all departments. This is more than an operations role—you will shape business strategy, strengthen key partnerships, drive sustainable growth, and build a customer-focused organization that delivers memorable travel experiences.
You will oversee multiple business functions, inspire high-performing teams, and ensure our services remain competitive in Bahrain's growing travel and tourism market.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership: Develop and execute strategic business plans that support company objectives, revenue growth, and long-term sustainability.
Operational Management: Oversee daily travel and tourism operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards.
Commercial Growth: Identify new business opportunities, strengthen corporate partnerships, negotiate with travel suppliers, and expand market presence.
Financial Performance: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, analyze KPIs, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop department managers and employees while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service standards across all customer touchpoints and continuously improve the overall client experience.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, tourism boards, government entities, and corporate clients.
Compliance \& Quality: Ensure adherence to Bahrain tourism regulations, industry best practices, and internal company policies.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience within the travel and tourism industry, including at least 3-5 years in a senior management or general management position.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of travel operations, corporate travel management, tourism services, supplier negotiations, and business development.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage organizational change, and deliver measurable business results.
Commercial Mindset: Proven experience growing revenue, improving operational performance, and developing strategic business initiatives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency, including Arabic, is considered an advantage.
Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, travel management systems, CRM platforms, and business reporting tools.
