Full-Time Senior Waitstaff (Origami)

We are looking for passionate, confident Full-Time Senior Wait Staff!

Some experience in the hospitality industry is necessary (at least 3 months).

We are a modern Japanese Restaurant located in the heart of Cuba Street, Wellington! We are known for serving delicious fusion-inspired Japanese food as well as delectable, mouthwatering desserts; we pride ourselves in upholding a reputation of having delicious desserts and amazing food!

What this job requires of you as an applicant are:

• Some experience in the Hospitality industry (AT LEAST 3 MONTHS), otherwise hospitality experience as a Senior Front of House would be preferred (applicants with no managing/senior experience should look to apply still as we are happy to support thorough training for any keen applicants)
• Must be able to commit to at least 25 - 30 hours a week
• Knowledge of Japanese food and a basic understanding of patisserie
• Great communication and being a team-oriented individual
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a good work ethic
• Serious about hospitality and pride themselves in giving great customer service
• Flexibility** across a seven day week. For the right person, we are able to work around your schedule and meet your needs as required!
• Must be able to commit to WEEKEND SHIFTS EVERY WEEK
• LCQ Certificate and a valid Manager's Certificate would be preferred, however, we are able to support the right applicants with training
• Flexibility is defined as having the availability to work both lunch and evening shifts as well as weekend flexibility
