ABOUT THE JOB

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, Java, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks

Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java (Spring Boot preferred) and integrate them with frontend applications

Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka for real-time messaging and data processing

Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure

Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality software solutions

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance

Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle

ABOUT YOU

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

4–6 years of experience in Software Development

Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred), Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript

Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures

Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar version control tools

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications is an advantage

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience in the Insurance industry is highly preferred

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Fluent English communication (spoken and written)
