Job Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging lessons for Primary and/or Secondary students in your teaching subjects.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus.
- Mark assignments, assessments and examinations promptly.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide personalised feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Build positive relationships with students and motivate them to achieve their best.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement.
- Prepare lesson materials, worksheets and teaching resources.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Support curriculum development and contribute new teaching ideas.
- Assist in centre operations, student enrolment events and academic workshops when required.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant discipline preferred).
- Strong academic results in the subjects you teach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Patient, responsible and proactive.
- Comfortable teaching small-group classes.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
- Prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience will be an advantage.
Preferred Subjects
- Primary: English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese
- Secondary: English, E-Math, A-Math, Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), Chinese
Working Hours
- 5-day work week (including weekends)
- Weekdays: Afternoon to evening classes
- Weekends: Morning and afternoon classes
- One weekday off
