FULL STACK DEVELOPER – INTERNAL BUSINESS SYSTEMS

ABOUT THE ROLE

Parkview Pet Center is looking for a practical Full Stack Developer to help build and implement a modern internal business management platform.

The system will support veterinary care, appointments, grooming, boarding, retail, inventory, invoicing, payments, reporting and internal management workflows.

This is not a basic website-development role. You will work directly with management and staff to understand real operational needs, convert them into reliable software features, test the results and improve the system based on daily use.

Veterinary experience is not required. Business requirements and workflow knowledge will be provided by management and department users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop web application features using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Build server-side logic, REST APIs and PostgreSQL database functionality.
• Translate business requirements into workflows, screens, validation rules and technical tasks.
• Develop features such as booking calendars, dashboards, invoicing, payments, inventory, reports, permissions and audit trails.
• Build clean and efficient interfaces for non-technical staff.
• Work onsite with users to understand workflows and improve usability.
• Write tests, troubleshoot defects and maintain reliable code.
• Use GitHub for source control, pull requests and documentation.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while reviewing and testing all generated code.
• Support user testing, staff training, rollout and post-launch improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Full-stack development experience.
• Practical experience with React and/or Next.js.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills.
• Experience with Node.js or another server-side framework.
• Strong SQL and relational-database knowledge.
• Experience building REST APIs and database-backed applications.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Ability to understand business workflows and communicate with non-technical users.
• Ability to work full-time and onsite in Doha.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• PostgreSQL.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Role-based access, authentication or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with booking, invoicing, POS, CRM, ERP, inventory or internal business systems.
• Automated testing and application security.
• Arabic/English or other bilingual interfaces.
• AI API or workflow-automation integrations.
