Freelance Real Estate Photographer

Terracon Media is looking for a reliable, personable photographer/videographer to join our real estate media team in Toronto and the GTA.

This is a flexible, on-the-road freelance position primarily photographing residential properties, with opportunities to shoot social media videos, property videos and drone content.

What you'll do:

• Photograph/film residential/commercial properties throughout Toronto and the GTA
• Capture drone content of properties.
• Review and select media for our editing team. No editing required
• Make small adjustments to rooms before shooting to ensure properties look their best
• Communicate professionally with agents and homeowners
• Independently manage assigned shoots and follow our shooting standards

What we're looking for:

• Photography/videography experience preferred; real estate experience is an asset but not required
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Professional and calm when dealing with clients or unexpected situations
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle
• Flexible availability

Professional equipment can be provided, although candidates with their own suitable equipment are welcome. Training on our real estate media process is also provided.

Schedule

Hours vary based on booking volume and your availability. Most shoots take place during the day, with occasional evening/weekend opportunities. Some assignments may be offered with only 1–2 days' notice. You are not expected to be available for every assignment, but greater availability generally means more opportunities.

Compensation: $25–$60+ effective hourly earnings

Photographers are paid per assignment rather than a fixed hourly wage. Rates vary based on property size, services and travel. Once proficient with our process, photographers frequently earn $35+/hour, with some assignments offering significantly higher effective hourly earnings. Additional compensation may be provided for extended travel.
