Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making within the company. The role involves analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business performance and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for retail operations

Analyse sales performance, margins, pricing, and product profitability (fruits and vegetables category)

Monitor and evaluate stock movement, wastage, and shrinkage levels

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

Conduct cost analysis across procurement, logistics, and store operations

Support management with financial insights to improve profitability and efficiency

Reconcile financial and operational data to ensure accuracy of records

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly revenue, expenses, and cash flow

Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Excel or ERP systems

Work closely with procurement, store operations, and accounting teams

Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounting principles

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modelling)

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong communication and reporting skills

Pay: €36,900.00 per year
