About this role

We're seeking a Financial Accountant (R2R) for financial reporting, trend analysis, and process improvement. You'll ensure accurate financial data and support data-driven decisions.

This role suits a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant with strong core skills and an interest in learning data/coding for automation and better reporting. You'll collaborate with finance, auditors, and stakeholders to boost accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconcile balance sheets, and support month/year-end closing (including payroll \& assets).
• Manage intercompany accounting and consolidation, support audits, and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs, and investigate discrepancies.
• Conduct variance analysis on key accounts and help develop financial dashboards.
• Automate and optimize accounting processes through cross-functional projects.
• Work with stakeholders to streamline financial workflows and align with global standards and controls.

What will you bring to the table?

• Qualified accountant or actively pursuing ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger, or a similar role; international experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Analytical, with experience identifying financial trends, plus strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Language requirements: Polish and English - min. B2 level.
