Job Description

Location: Bahrain

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Finance Manager to join a fast-growing FinTech company in Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee the company's financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while ensuring adherence to Bahrain's regulatory and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain regulatory requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and treasury functions.
  • Develop and enhance financial controls, policies, and internal processes.
  • Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence activities when required.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Finance Manager role.
  • Prior experience within FinTech, Payments, Digital Wallets, Banking, Financial Services, Crypto, or Regulated Financial Institutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of Bahrain's financial regulatory environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience working in a regulated FinTech or financial services environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Experience supporting fundraising, audits, compliance, and business expansion initiatives will be highly regarded.

Pay: BD1,500.000 - BD3,000.000 per month
