The Role

The Regular Giving Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth in Oxfam Ireland’s regular giving programme by leading a multi ‑ channel acquisition and retention strategy across. First Engagement (face ‑ to ‑ face two ‑ step), Telemarketing, Digital Advertising, and third ‑ party agency partners. This role is accountable for converting fundraising leads, acquiring new committed supporters, and ensuring engagement, retention, and increasing, the lifetime value of our committed and loyal regular giving supporters.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong understanding of fundraising and marketing strategy, segment-led fundraising and marketing and donor/customer relationship management in a non-profit or commercial context.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Highly experienced people manager with a track record of leading highly performing and successful teams.
  • Proven expertise in regular giving acquisition and retention across face-to-face fundraising, digital acquisition and telemarketing.
  • Experience in management of agency contracts and third-party vendors. Experience in setting, developing and managing budgets.

Desirable Criteria

  • Strong understanding of regulatory framework related to fundraising in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection and its relation to data management of donor data and employee data. Experience in management of agency contracts and third-party vendors.
