Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of customer equipment in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
- Act as the resident technical expert at the Audi site, building strong working relationships with customer engineering, production, and management teams.
- Manage and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities (on‑site or return‑to‑Keysight), aligned with Audi’s production and test schedules.
- Perform installation, commissioning, and upgrades of hardware, software, firmware, and service notes.
- Support the Global Solutions Delivery team with on‑site installation and commissioning of complete test systems and solutions.
- Support regional and global project teams with service strategy planning, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Coordinate and supervise third‑party service providers working on-site at Audi.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Keysight teams (R\&D, factory, logistics, project management) to resolve complex repair cases and technical escalations.
- Deliver technical training to Audi engineers and technicians as required.
- Independently determine and develop approaches to varied and complex technical assignments.
- Lead service and support activities requiring coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal Keysight organizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system‑level issues involving hardware, power electronics, high‑voltage and high‑current systems.
Qualifications:### Qualifications \& Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (German is highly desirable for effective on‑site customer interaction).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel by car and air when required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across Europe on short notice when needed, despite being a primarily resident role.
- Strong working knowledge of battery test technologies and automotive test solutions is highly advantageous.
- Solid experience in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical troubleshooting, with emphasis on power electronics and high‑energy systems.
- Previous on‑site commissioning, resident engineer, or service delivery experience in an automotive or industrial environment is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Windows OS, Linux, and networking.
