Seed Disability Services is looking for a caring, reliable and energetic female Support Worker to join our team and provide one-on-one support to a wonderful 10-year-old girl in St Clair.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll spend your time helping a young participant build confidence, develop life skills and enjoy fun activities in the community.

Please note: At the participant's request, we are seeking Australian female applicants aged 18–23 years.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be supporting the participant both at home and out in the community, helping her enjoy everyday life while encouraging independence.

Your day might include:

  • Getting out into the community for fun activities
  • Swimming, gymnastics or horse riding
  • Arts and crafts or sensory play
  • Visiting parks and local attractions
  • Supporting emotional regulation with a calm and positive approach
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Transporting the participant safely to activities
  • Completing simple shift notes after each shift

About the Participant

You'll be supporting a fun, active and creative 10-year-old girl who loves being out and about.

She enjoys:

  • Swimming
  • Gymnastics
  • Horse riding
  • Arts and crafts
  • Slime and sensory activities
  • Parks and outdoor adventures

She thrives with someone who is patient, kind, consistent and able to create a calm and positive environment.

About You

You don't need years of experience—we're much more interested in finding the right person.

You'll be someone who is:

  • Kind and caring
  • Patient and calm
  • Reliable and turns up when you say you will
  • Confident working with children
  • Happy getting involved in activities and having fun
  • Willing to learn and follow support plans
  • Professional while still building a genuine connection

If you have previous disability support or childcare experience, that's a bonus—but it's not essential.

What You'll Need

Before starting, you'll need (or be willing to obtain):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid \& CPR
  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • Reliable, insured vehicle
  • Right to work in Australia

Pay: $32.00 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • disability Support: 1 year (Preferred)
