Job Description – Freelance Graphic Designer (Events & Exhibitions)

About the Role

Artistic Business Solutions (ABS) is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Graphic Designer to support the design and development of exhibition stands, event branding, and marketing materials for local and international projects.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating impactful visual experiences and has a strong background in the events and exhibitions industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative concepts for exhibition booths, pavilions, and event stands.
• Develop high-quality 2D and 3D visual presentations and renderings.
• Create branding materials, large-format graphics, signage, and event collateral.
• Collaborate with the project and production teams to ensure designs are practical and aligned with client requirements.
• Revise and refine designs based on client feedback and project needs.
• Ensure all artwork is production-ready and delivered within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within the events, exhibitions, and booth design industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing exhibition stand designs, event branding, and large-format graphics.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D design software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, or similar.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Female candidate preferred.
• Based in Doha, Qatar.
• Experience working on government, corporate, and international exhibition projects.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
• French language proficiency is an advantage.
