Your impact

As a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer with strong BIM , you will support the full lifecycle of an Advanced Manufacturing facility delivery from design coordination and model development through to installation oversight, commissioning support and handover. You will work closely with construction teams, trade contractors, designers and client representatives to ensure mechanical systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will be proficient in BIM coordination, mechanical building services and HVAC design, with strong familiarity working in highly controlled cleanroom environments. This role is site based.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Mechanical/HVAC engineering activities for assigned semiconductor project areas.

Develop, review and coordinate BIM models for mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy, clash resolution and alignment with design intent.

Support site installation of mechanical and HVAC systems, working closely with contractors to resolve technical queries and ensure compliance with specifications.

Conduct field inspections, verify installation quality and support commissioning readiness.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, electrical, architectural and construction management.

Ensure adherence to cleanroom, contamination control and high tech manufacturing standards.

Review technical submittals, method statements and contractor proposals.

Support commissioning and start up activities, including testing, verification and documentation.

Maintain accurate project records, model updates and as built information.

Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement across all site activities.

Here's what you'll need

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.

Strong experience delivering mechanical/HVAC systems on large industrial or advanced manufacturing projects.

Proven capability in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks or equivalent.

Experience working site based on major construction programmes.

Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, high purity systems, contamination control or semiconductor facility requirements (advantageous).

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and BIM models.

Familiarity with commissioning processes and construction quality standards.
