Join our growing team as a Carpenter/ Property Maintenance Technician, where your hands-on skills and proactive approach will ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and welcoming. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of residential or commercial properties, performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting overall building operations. Your expertise will help create a comfortable environment for clients fostering a sense of pride and trust in their properties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, windows, structural elements, and more.
• Operate carpentry tools, diagnostic tools, and other construction type equipment.
• Execute residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computer \& app based Maintenance Management System.
• Supervise or assist with maintenance tasks in collaboration with team members or subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Provide 5 star customer service by addressing clients concerns promptly and professionally.
• Take a lead role during maintenance and construction projects or repairs, demonstrating leadership experience when applicable.

Skills

• Strong property maintenance and construction knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in basic trouble shooting of residential electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficient in deck building, siding, drywall, and framing.
• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with and provide direction to subcontractors.
• Superior customer service skills providing clients with a 5 star experience.
• Ability to prep jobsite and clean up before and after work.
• Jobsite safety minded.
• Must be 18+
