Te Whare Toi o Heretaunga Hastings Art Gallery is the public art gallery of Te Matau-a-Māui Hawke’s Bay. It is uniquely positioned as a regional, non-collecting gallery that presents a lively programme of local, national, and international contemporary art. We are seeking an Exhibitions Coordinator to lead project management, administration, and logistics of exhibitions, working closely with artists, external parties, and staff across the gallery.
Reporting to the Gallery’s Director, the Exhibitions Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing freight, travel arrangements, payments, external contractor relationships, and timelines for other exhibition logistics.

This position requires an experienced museum and/or gallery professional who has excellent communication and administrative skills, sharp attention to detail, and a proven ability to effectively manage complex projects and multiple deadlines.
