Responsibilities

• Medical Esthetician – Amavi Wellness

Amavi Wellness is looking for a skilled, motivated, and client-focused Medical Esthetician to join our growing wellness clinic in Sage Hill, Calgary.

The ideal candidate is passionate about skin health and creating personalized treatment experiences in a warm, professional, and collaborative environment.

Services may include:

• Customized facials and advanced skin treatments
• Microneedling
• Laser hair removal and laser skin treatments
• Dermaplaning
• Brow shaping, tinting, and lamination
• Skin consultations and treatment planning
• Product recommendations and client education

What we’re looking for:

• Certified Medical Esthetician with relevant training
• Experience performing facials, microneedling, laser treatments, dermaplaning, and brow services
• Strong understanding of skin types, conditions, contraindications, and treatment safety
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Professional, reliable, organized, and confident working independently
• Comfortable recommending treatment plans, packages, and home-care products
• Committed to sanitation, documentation, and maintaining high treatment standards
• Interested in building a loyal clientele and growing with the clinic
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing client inquiries, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with retail sales by promoting skincare products and beauty tools to clients during their visits
• Support team members with administrative tasks such as managing bookings, processing payments, and maintaining client records

Requirements

• Valid esthetician license or certification as required by state or local regulations
• Proven experience in skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff
• Ability to handle retail sales confidently through upselling and product demonstrations
• Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy workspace
• Hospitality-minded attitude with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
