Role Overview
The Data Governance Analyst role is part of the Centralized Modelling Analytics \& Operations (CMAO) team within Enterprise Risk Management’s Financial Risk organization, supporting data governance across Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Stress Testing systems.
The team is responsible for ensuring that data used in risk aggregation and regulatory reporting across ERM systems meets defined data quality standards, including completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. The role supports compliance with BCBS 239 principles by strengthening governance frameworks around risk data aggregation, lineage, and controls, and by enhancing transparency, traceability, and accountability in risk reporting processes.
Who we are looking for
Candidates should have a strong understanding of financial risks, particularly Credit Risk and Market Risk, combined with solid technical skills, including proficiency in SQL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of data quality checks for critical data elements within ERM systems, as well as the investigation and resolution of data quality issues to ensure the integrity and reliability of risk data used in reporting.
What you will be responsible for
Collaborate with ERM, Business, and IT teams to design and implement governance frameworks supporting risk data aggregation and reporting (e.g., CCST, Market Risk, Limit Management). Support the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks across reporting tiers, aligned with BCBS 239 principles. Ensure data governance artifacts (e.g., data definitions, lineage, controls, and ownership) and risk reporting procedures are established, maintained, and regularly reviewed. Partner with data stewards to resolve data quality issues and enforce standards related to materiality, consistency, and governance controls. Design, implement, and maintain data quality checks within Collibra and related data quality platforms for critical data elements across ERM systems. Investigate and resolve data quality issues by querying underlying data sources to identify root causes and ensure data integrity and traceability.

Minimum Salary:
zł182 004 Annual The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
