Description and Requirements

The Opportunity The Data Governance \& Reporting Specialist is responsible for ensuring high-quality, governed, and actionable data across the organization. This role combines data governance, data quality, and reporting capabilities to support regulatory, operational, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Data Governance \& Compliance

• Support implementation of data governance framework, policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (PDPL, DOH, CBUAE)
• Maintain governance documentation and data standards
• Act as liaison between Data, IT and business stakeholders

Data Quality Management

• Develop and monitor data quality rules and controls
• Track data issues and remediation actions
• Ensure data accuracy for reporting and analytics

Reporting \& Analytics

• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Provide insights across claims, underwriting and operations
• Enable self-service reporting capabilities

Data Products \& Insights

• Build governed datasets such as Customer 360 and claims dashboards
• Support fraud detection and operational monitoring use cases

Data Integration \& Architecture

• Document data lineage and transformations
• Validate ETL processes and data reconciliations

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with business teams to define KPIs and data requirements
• Drive data-driven decision making

Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field. * 5+ years experience in data governance, data quality or reporting roles. * Experience in insurance or financial services preferred.

Technical Skills* SQL, Power BI * Python/R (preferred) * Data governance and data quality tools (Collibra, Talend, etc.) * Understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM)

Soft Skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Stakeholder management and communication * Documentation and process design * Highly structured and organized, with strong attention to details
