Job Description

Presbyterian Support is one of the largest providers of social and health services in New Zealand. Our East Coast team is made up of over 200 staff and 100 volunteers across our services, Enliven and Family Works in Hawke’s Bay, and two Charity Shops.

Enliven Older People, a service of Presbyterian Support East Coast, supports older people to live well and remain connected in their community.

We currently have a permanent part-time position (50 hours per fortnight) available for a Service Administrator within our Enliven team.

About the role:
This is a varied and busy administration role providing essential support to the Enliven service. You will work closely with senior administrator, managers and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth coordination of day-to-day operations, systems, and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting contract management, reporting, and client administration (referrals, discharges)
  • Maintaining accurate databases, records, and filing systems
  • Coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and taking minutes
  • Managing correspondence, phone enquiries, and general office coordination
  • Assisting with recruitment processes, onboarding, and HR administration
  • Supporting quality systems, audits, and compliance requirements Providing general administrative support across the Enliven team

What you will bring:

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven administration experience in a busy office environment
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism A flexible, positive, and team-focused approach

You will also have:

  • Experience with client management systems (desirable)
  • Experience in recruitment or HR administration (desirable) An understanding of working within health or community services (advantageous)
