A Little Bit About Us
Founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada, FORM is the sports technology company behind the FORM Smart Swim Goggles, a pair of premium swim goggles with a see-through, augmented-reality display that delivers performance metrics in real time. For the first time, swimmers and triathletes using our goggles can see real-time visual feedback, with metrics like split times, distance, stroke rate, pace per 100, and calories displayed directly in the swimmer’s line of sight - in pools, open water, and swim spas.
Since launch in 2019, our goggles have won many awards, including RedDot, iF Design Award, Global Triathlon Award, and many more. Pro-athletes, age group triathletes, and any swimmer looking to improve love what we're doing and are proud to use our goggles. We have an amazing team of people who are fun to work with and serious about what they do, leveraging decades of combined expertise in consumer products, ranging from sports eyewear design to interface design to activity tracking algorithms.

Position Overview
The Email Marketing Manager owns the strategic direction, day-to-day execution, and continuous optimization of our email and SMS channel. This role sits at the intersection of acquisition marketing and customer engagement, ensuring every send is on-brand, audience-right, and built to convert.
Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, you will translate customer insights, segmentation data, and business goals into a Klaviyo program that grows our subscriber base, converts prospects into customers, and deepens existing customer relationships. While our Product team owns the in-app subscription experience, you will partner closely with them to ensure email and SMS reinforce the broader customer journey particularly during onboarding and beyond first purchase so that the customer experience feels cohesive end-to-end.
This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who thinks like a marketer, writes like a copywriter, and obsesses over the data behind every send.
Primary Responsibilities
Email \& SMS Strategy \& Management
- Own the end-to-end strategy for the email and SMS channel, ensuring an audience-right, on-brand experience that aligns with broader marketing priorities.
- Lead campaign planning, calendar management, and segmentation strategy in collaboration with marketing, brand, and product stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a channel roadmap aligned with business priorities, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Brief and partner with our Art Director on creative; develop and write copy in-house, with strong instincts for voice, hooks, and CTAs.
- Champion subscriber list health and program quality, ensuring deliverability, consent, and subscriber experience scale alongside list growth.
- Stay current on email and SMS trends, Klaviyo platform capabilities, and best-in-class DTC programs.
- Design, prioritize, and run consideration campaigns and onboarding flows that systematically move new subscribers toward their first purchase.
- Develop and optimize a full set of automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and others you’ll identify) inside Klaviyo.
- Analyze quantitative data (Klaviyo, Shopify analytics, GA4) and qualitative inputs (subscriber surveys, support feedback) to identify friction and opportunity areas across the channel.
Cross-Functional Partnership (Subscription App)
- Partner with the Product team to ensure email and SMS reinforce the experience between the Shopify site and the subscription app, with particular focus on onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Share subscriber insights, behavioral data, and channel learnings that may inform subscription onboarding and retention.
- Advocate for the customer across the seam between acquisition and subscription, flagging friction points and opportunities for a more unified experience.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in email, SMS, lifecycle, or CRM marketing roles, ideally within a DTC or consumer brand.
- Demonstrated ownership of an email and SMS program (Klaviyo or comparable ESP), including strategic direction and day-to-day management.
- Strong track record building and optimizing automated flows, with clear examples of revenue or conversion impact.
- Fluency with Klaviyo segmentation, flow logic, and reporting; comfort with Google Analytics and Shopify.
- Solid fundamentals across the channel: segmentation, copywriting, deliverability, list hygiene, A/B testing, and consent/compliance.
- Comfort working across creative and technical execution; ability to brief a designer, debug a broken flow, and read a deliverability report.
- Self-directed and organized, able to run a full channel as an individual contributor and set their own priorities.
Additional Skills
- Experience working alongside in-house Product teams on subscription, app, or post-purchase experiences.
- Background in lifecycle, retention marketing, churn analysis, or post-purchase engagement.
- Experience with SMS compliance (TCPA/CTIA) and consent management at scale
