ELECTRICIAN

LK Electrical Limited is a trusted provider of electrical, air conditioning, and refrigeration services based in Auckland. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems, as well as heating and cooling solutions. We now need an Full time Electrician to join our busy team and deliver top-level service to our clients.

This is a full-time position, with 30 guaranteed hours of work every week, but normally we should have around 40 hours workload for you.

The tasks of this role include:

• Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, switchboards, circuits, outlets, lighting systems and electrical equipment.
• Test electrical systems and equipment to identify faults, safety issues and performance problems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
• Install and connect electrical appliances, control systems, motors and power distribution systems.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure they comply with New Zealand electrical standards, safety regulations and workplace requirements.
• Use electrical testing tools and equipment, including multimeters, insulation testers and circuit testers.
• Carry out routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Keep accurate records of electrical work, testing results, maintenance and repairs.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and safe handling of electrical equipment.
• Work with builders, engineers, contractors and clients to complete electrical installation projects.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently and to required quality standards

Requirements for this role:

• At least two years of relevant work experience
• NZ Registration Electrician certificate (Limited Certificate is acceptable） , can replace the work experience requirement
• Be punctual and responsible
• Be hardworking — your earnings will reflect your effort
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to arrange your own transportation
